VWCCS is very pleased to announce that our Operations Manager Leanne Hillman was selected as the 2023 NSW Volunteer of the Year.
Leanne has been a volunteer Court Support Officer with the VWCCS since 2009 and her volunteering also crosses over into regulatory, governance, and administrative support for the group.
She has been the driving force behind the organisation’s expansion across Sydney, Parramatta, and Newcastle.
This award recognises the enormous contribution Leanne has made to VWCCS over the years, a true and worthy acknowledgement of her efforts both within VWCCS and to the community.
In congratulating Leanne on her awards, Vice President of VWCCS Maggie Weiley said that when accepting these awards, Leanne would be the first to say that none of this would happen without the efforts and contribution of all VWCCS volunteers.
