I don’t know how I can adequately thank you for all the care and kindness you gave to me last Wednesday.

I was extremely nervous about meeting members of the offender’s family as I had been abused, verbally, after the sentencing and felt very vulnerable.

I have the greatest admiration for the VWCCS Inc and having experienced first hand of the help you give to so many people I cannot thank you enough. … thank you for giving up so much your time as a volunteer and to your colleagues as well.  The event of last week was not nearly as traumatic as I expected and for that I can thank you.

Hello, my name is Peter and I had to attend Parramatta Children’s Court as a witness to an assault that occurred to me in May this year. I’m a taxi driver and had a incident that left me with severe injuries, and thankfully the defendant was found guilty by the court.

On the day the help I received by both Judy and Sue was substantial!! I was very nervous as this is a most unpleasant experience! But both Judy and Sue were wonderful in their help to me with even Judy sitting in the court room with me!

I am very very grateful and wish to express and praise their help to me! I would like to send my utmost appreciation. Thanking you very much.

I’m certainly glad my daughter had the privledge of knowing and meeting you and you really helped her.  She is exhausted as you can imagine.

I would like to discuss with you later when im not so tired myself about how <my daughter> does a victim impact statement, how I go about getting some counselling for myself, and after the case is finished… how do we go for victims compensation?  But we can talk about these issues at a later date.

As I said, once again a massive thank you deep from our hearts.  You are such a nice lady, thanks again always.

Thank you very much for your very kind e-mail.  I had a chance late in the trial to speak to both <volunteers>, and to thank them very much for all of their assistance during the trial.  The successful outcome of the trial depends upon so many people, and their contribution is very much appreciated.

It was a great result and a recognition of the extraordinary efforts put in by the team.  I will pass your message on to <both police officers> who are currently on deck. I spoke to them yesterday after the verdict; both were very excited about the result.
